Lewiston Bloopers (HALLOWEEN SPECIAL; CW!!!)

On October 25, 2023, The sound of gunfire echoed through the streets, sharp and jarring. Screams filled the air as people ran for cover, tripping over each other in their haste to escape danger. It was chaos. A man with a gun had unleashed hell on earth, taking 18 lives and injuring 13 others in a cruel, senseless shooting spree. The smell of smoke and gunpowder lingered long after the shooter had fled the scene, leaving behind a trail of devastation that would haunt the survivors forever.[4][5][6] at two locations in Lewiston, Maine

It occurred on October 25, 2023, beginning at Just-In-Time Recreation, a Lewiston bowling alley, during a youth league event.[12] The team

from St. Mary's Catholic School had just finished their game and were celebrating their victory with a round of high-fives and fist bumps. As they gathered their belongings, a loud explosion rocked the building, sending the young bowlers into a near panic.

Panic turned to terror as they saw a group of armed men storming into the bowling alley, shouting and firing their weapons indiscriminately. The St. Mary's team huddled together, trying to stay out of sight as the chaos unfolded around them.

One of the gunmen spotted the group of children and began to approach them, gun raised. The children froze, unsure of what to do. Suddenly, a figure appeared in front of them, blocking the gunman's path.

It was their coach, Sister Mary Catherine, her habit billowing around her as she stood fearlessly between the children and the gunman. She held her rosary in one hand and a fierce determination in her eyes as she faced down the attacker.

The gunman hesitated at Schemengees Bar & Grille Restaurant, 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Just-In-Time.[15][17] Office

rs arrived on the scene within minutes, but the assailants had already fled. Sister Mary Catherine gathered her shaken team and led them out of the building to safety.

As they emerged into the cool autumn air, Sister Mary Catherine's heart raced with adrenaline. She had never been so close to danger before, but her faith and her love for her students had given her the strength to act.

As the police began their investigation, Sister Mary Catherine realized that this was no random act of violence. The attackers had specifically targeted the bowling alley during the youth league event, and she couldn't help but wonder why.

Over the next few days, the community was left on edge as rumors circulated about who was behind the attack. Was it a terrorist group? A gang initiation gone wrong?

Sister Mary Catherine couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the story than anyone realized. She began to investigate on her own, using her connections within the church and the community to gather information.

What she uncovered was a longtime resident of Bowdoin, Maine.
