Scaredy Pie Again
"Hold on, dear! Don't you want to hear my annual scary story?" Stolas asks.
"No thank you, Stolas." Pinkie said at first, but then asked, "Uhh, does it have monsters in it?"
"Indeed, the worst monster of them all." Stolas replies coldly. Who could this monster be?
"Uhh... no." Pinkie says as she walks out the door, but before she does, she stops and asks Stolas one more question, "Is it a true story?"
"True as the starry night sky." Stolas replies.
Then, Pinkie started to hesitate about this before saying, "Okay, maybe just a little."
"Have a seat, my dear." Stolas said, pushing Pinkie onto a chair as he goes and gets a campfire and places it in the middle. Then, he sits on a chair and starts to tell Pinkie the story, "Every year on Halloween night, the ghost of a young girl haunts the woods surrounding our village. Her name was Abigail and she was murdered by her own father, who buried her body deep in these woods. Legend has it that every Halloween night, Abigail's ghost rises from the dead to seek revenge on her father and anyone else who crosses her path. Some say they have seen her lurking in the shadows, her ghostly figure draped in a white dress and her face twisted in a permanent expression of agony."
Pinkie shivers at the thought of Abigail's ghost and asks, "Have you ever seen her, Stolas?"
Stolas takes a long pause and then nods his head. "Yes, I have. Many years ago, when I was just a boy, I wandered into these woods on Halloween night. I saw her standing there, her ghostly figure illuminated by the moonlight. Her eyes were fixed on me, and I could feel her hatred piercing through my soul. I ran as fast as I could, soul bag."
He then drops the cupcake in the bag with the words "Trick-or-Treat" crossed out and the word "souls" written above it as he begins to laugh evilly. As Pinkie begins to shake really nervously, a short figure in a ghostly white torn-up tuxedo, a white top hat and chains pops up from behind her.
"I've come for your cupcake." the figure said in a ghostly voice.
Hearing this, Pinkie turns around to see the man. This causes her to jump up and scream in fright. After that, the figure takes off the top hat to show it was just her friend, Discord, dressed up as a ghost.
"Gotcha, Pinkie! I couldn't resist playing a little Halloween prank on you." Discord chuckles.
Pinkie breathes a sigh of relief and then playfully hits Discord with her bag of candy. "You scared me, you big goof! But hey, since you're here, want to hear the scary story Stolas just told me?"
Discord's eyes light up with excitement. "Absolutely! I love a good scary story."
As Pinkie begins to retell the story, Stolas watches on with a smirk. He knew he had successfully spooked Pinkie and now he had a new audience to entertain. The night was still young, and who knew what other spooky tales Stolas had up his sleeve. So, Pinkie opens the door and lets out a scary roar, but suddenly stops as she sees a skeleton. It was actually a tall figure with a square head with a mouth separating part of it with four square teeth inside of it and two large eyes with some gold and rock in between them on top of his head. On the back of his head are black horns. He has a large, round body with a few edges, with rocks and gold in the middle of his stomach, resembling a cubit. He has two large arms with the same square that's in his stomach, with two large fingers with gray and gold accents on the tip coming from the square. Lastly, he has tall legs and large feet with a black toe each. He is also dressed in a skeleton costume with skull makeup; he's the infamous skeleton king known as Jack.
"Hello there, Pinkie and Discord. What brings you out here on this spooky Halloween night?" Jack asks with a deep and echoing voice.
"We were just telling scary stories, Jack." Pinkie replies, still a little shaken from Discord's prank.
"Well, I have a scary story of my own. It's about the cursed tomb deep within the mountains, guarded by the undead spirits of long-forgotten warriors. They say that anyone who dares to enter the tomb will be cursed with a fate worse than death." Jack says as he takes a seat next to them.
The three friends listen intently as Jack tells his chilling story. The campfire flickers and casts eerie shadows on the ground as Jack's deep voice echoes through the night. Suddenly, they hear a rustling in the bushes nearby. Pinkie jumps up, her heart pounding with fear.
"What was that?" she asks, her voice trembling.
"It's probably just a rac-" Then, a bedsheet ghost with a long snout appeared and spoke in a German accent, "What's going on here?"
Jack and Pinkie then scream at the figure as if he were a real ghost. She also ends up hitting the ceiling as Jack and the "ghost" look up.
"Pinkie, Jack, it's me!" the "ghost" said as he lifted up his sheet.
The figure is revealed to be none other than Fluttershy, who had decided to join her friends in their Halloween festivities. Pinkie and Jack let out a sigh of relief as Fluttershy giggles at their reaction.
"You scared us, Fluttershy. We thought you were a real ghost." Pinkie said, still trying to catch her breath.
"Sorry about that, I couldn't resist getting in on the spooky fun." Fluttershy apologizes with a smile.
Jack then turns to the group and says, "Well, why don't we continue our scary story marathon? I have a few more tales to tell."
The group nods in agreement as they settle in for more scary tales by the campfire. The night was still young, and with the company of good friends and spooky tales, it was sure to be a Halloween to remember. Pinkie steps out of the closet and is dressed in a long white robe, white mittens and a paper bag on her head (with her hair still showing), showing it to Jack and Fluttershy with a mischievous grin.
"Boo! I'm the ghost of Abigail, and I've come to seek revenge!" Pinkie exclaimed in her best ghostly voice.
Jack and Fluttershy jump in surprise, but then burst out laughing when they realize it's just Pinkie in a costume.
"Nice one, Pinkie. You really had us going there for a second." Jack said, still chuckling.
"Thanks! I couldn't resist getting in on the spooky fun too." Pinkie replied, taking off her costume.
As the group continues to exchange scary stories and Halloween pranks, the night grows darker and the campfire burns lower. But even as they start to feel the chill of the night, they know that they have each other for company and that the spooky tales will only get better from here on out.
"What do you think?" Pinkie asks.
"AHHH! Zombie!" Discord screams as he jumps up from his seat, pointing at a figure stumbling towards them from the woods. The figure appears to be a man, but his skin is pale and decayed with bits of flesh hanging off in places. His clothes are torn and stained with blood. He lets out a guttural growl as he lurches closer to the group.
Jack quickly stands up, his hand reaching for his sword. "Stay back, foul creature!" he shouts, holding out his weapon in front of him.
But the zombie doesn't seem to be deterred. It continues to shamble towards them, its arms reaching out towards Discord.
In a fit of panic, Pinkie reaches into her bag of candy and grabs a handful of jawbreakers. She throws them at the zombie's face, hoping to distract it.
To her surprise, the jawbreakers actually seem to work. The zombie flinches and stumbles backwards, its arms flailing wildly. Jack takes a pair of white sneakers.
"Me back and me sure Rainbow Dash no mind me borrowing her sneakers."
Jack quickly slips the sneakers on, hoping they'll give him an advantage in the fight. He charges towards the zombie, his sword held high.
The zombie lets out another guttural growl, but this time it's cut short as Jack's sword slices through its neck. The creature crumples to the ground, its decapitated head bouncing off the grass.
Pinkie and Fluttershy let out a sigh of relief as Discord cheers Jack on.
"You did it, Jack! You saved us from the zombie!" Discord exclaims, clapping Jack on the back.
Jack sheathes his sword and takes a deep breath. "It was nothing. Just doing my duty as the Skeleton King."
Pinkie and Fluttershy giggle at Jack's serious tone, knowing that he's really just a big softie.
As they continue their Halloween festivities, the group can't help but feel a sense of camaraderie. They had survived the spookiest night of the year, it was Lock, Shock and Barrel as they said. "Trick-or-Treat!"
Pinkie then suddenly pops out and tries to scare the kids, but it didn't quite work as the three began to laugh.
"Look, it's a wad of haunted cotton candy!" Lock said.
Pinkie pouts, disappointed that her scare didn't work. But then she grins mischievously, knowing that she has one last trick up her sleeve. She reaches into her bag of candy and pulls out a handful of candy corn.
"Hey, kids! You want some candy?" she calls out, holding out the candy corn.
Lock, Shock, and Barrel eagerly run over to Pinkie, their eyes gleaming with excitement.
But as they reach for the candy, Pinkie suddenly throws the candy corn into the air. The candy flies everywhere, raining down on the kids like confetti.
The trio looks up in surprise as Pinkie cackles, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
"Happy Halloween, everyone!" she shouts, waving goodbye as she disappears into the night with her friends.
Lock, Shock, and Barrel continue to laugh and dance in the candy rain, grateful for the fun and excitement of Halloween night.
As Pinkie and her friends walk back to their ghost type puppet.
"Guys, look at my new paper ghost!"
Pinkie exclaims, holding up a sheet of white paper with two cut-out eye holes.
Fluttershy and Jack both laugh at Pinkie's creation, admiring her creativity.
"That's amazing, Pinkie! You always know how to make us laugh." Fluttershy praises.
Jack nods in agreement. "Yes, you truly are the life of the party, Pinkie."
Pinkie grins at the compliments, feeling grateful for her wonderful friends. As they continue to walk through the dark forest, the moon shining bright overhead, Pinkie knows that she'll always have her friends by her side, no matter what spooky adventures they may encounter. For together, they can overcome any fear or challenge that comes their way. "Pinkie's pink hair is showing and that ghost doesn't show any hair."
"You are right." Pinkie said as she got an idea. "All we have to do is make my hair shorter and BOO, I'm scary!"
Fluttershy and Jack both nod in agreement, knowing that Pinkie is always full of surprises. They quickly gather some tools and start to cut Pinkie's hair, transforming her into a spooky, short-haired ghost.
As they continue their walk through the forest, they notice that the trees are starting to thin out. In the distance, they can see a large mansion looming on the horizon, its windows dark and foreboding.
"Hey guys, let's go check out that mansion!" Pinkie suggests, pointing towards the looming structure.
Jack and Fluttershy exchange a nervous glance, but they know that Pinkie is always up for an adventure. Together, they make their way towards the mansion, their footsteps echoing through the silent forest.
As they approach the mansion, they notice that the front gate is slightly ajar. Jack unsheathes his sword, ready for any danger that may lie ahead. They cautiously enter the mansion, their eyes scanning the dark hallways.
Suddenly, Pinkie was running down a street, pretending to be a ghost.
"Oooh... I'm the ghost of Halloween past!" Pinkie exclaims, twirling around in circles.
Jack and Fluttershy laugh at Pinkie's antics, knowing that she always finds a way to keep them entertained. But as they continue down the street, they notice that something is not quite right.
The houses are dark and silent, with no signs of Halloween decorations or trick-or-treaters. The air is thick with a sense of foreboding, and they can't shake the feeling that something is watching them from the shadows.
Suddenly, a group of ghosts appears from nowhere, hovering in the air and moaning in unison. Jack and Fluttershy draw their weapons, ready to fight off the spectral attackers.
But Pinkie just grins mischievously, her eyes sparkling with excitement. She reaches into her bag of candy and pulls out a handful of lollipops, tossing them at the ghosts.
To everyone's surprise, the ghosts actually seem to enjoy the candy. Their door and then Pinkie makes the scare.
"Rawr! Rawr! I'm the scariest ghost in town!" Pinkie exclaims, jumping out from behind a tree and waving her arms.
The ghosts let out a collective chuckle, their moans turning into laughter. They float around Pinkie, admiring her spooky outfit and laughing at her silly antics.
Fluttershy and Jack let out a sigh of relief, grateful that their encounter with the ghosts turned out to be friendly. They join in on the laughter, feeling the joy and excitement of Halloween night.
As the night wears on, the group continues to explore the town, encountering all sorts of spooky creatures and haunted attractions. But no matter what they encounter, they always stick together, knowing that their friendship and teamwork will see them through any challenges.
As the sun starts to rise, the group makes their way back to their homes, exhausted but happy from their night of Halloween fun. They say they’re goodbyes, promising to meet up again next year for even more spooky adventures.
Pinkie hops into bed,"Don't worry, I can go see Twilight and then, she'll use her magic to fix my head!" Pinkie said off-screen.
